May's chemo news

May (kellerman) has seen the oncologist today. He doesn’t want her to re-start the chemo which caused all the problems so has ordered a different kind for her and, all being well, she’ll start it on January 3rd.
She’ll be seen first on Jan 2nd to ensure that all is well with her and the chemo has actually arrived. Sometimes this kind of chemo can cause soreness on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet so she’ll have to wear rubber gloves when washing up. (Or, better still, tell her husband she’s not supposed to wash up )
May is really grateful to everyone for their messages of support and anxious to thank you all but she has ongoing computer problems and, even with the dongle, can only rarely get online. She feels really bad about not being able to thank you all personally and is going to tackle the service provider again.
So, pocket duties will be resumed on 2nd and 3rd January, please. Sign up here

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hello To all of you.
I'm in the library but I had to come here and thank you all for your ongoing support.
Its all been a bit of a nightmare and not just the chemo so I'll be glad when the new year starts.
My son was involved in a car accident and its a struggle fighting the insurance which just possibly is now coming to an end. I thought I had everybody's present and I've forgotten one but that can be rectified although it means facing queques again.
I want to wish you all a very merry christmas and a pain managed new year. You are such wonderful people I am so gald I found you.
Please take care I'll be back when I can.
God bless you all.
Love May xxx0 -
You are not to fret about us, May. (I have my very stern face on ). You have more than enough on your plate and I think I speak for one and all when I say how impressed I am by the way you deal with all the rubbish life throws at you.
I hope you, too, will have a great Christmas and you have the prospect of successful new chemo to start the year with. xxxIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
