    Bless you all.
Christi, that's very kind of you hun.

I'm absolutely full of cold with a nasty sore throat too. Managed to go out for summat to eat with two of my brothers last night but ended up in bed rather early. .

Joints don't seem to want to settle down either.
Think I may visit the docs today. Get the throat looked at to make sure all is ok.

Sorry I've not been around much but as has been said, it's been a sh1t yr.

    I'll be back though.
    Xx

Thanks as usual folks. You're a good bunch of arthutites. :D

Mark, if only them wimmin knew what we go through eh?? Lol

Well, today I feel minutely better as far as the cold goes but it's had me awake all night coughing up what can only be described as toxic waste!
The joints are getting worse..so, Christmas eve I'm having the knees injected with any luck. I'm hoping it will do something to relieve that particular pain. Might ask him if he'll do the left shoulder too.. thing is I've a lot of driving about to do Christmas morning visiting family etc. Doubt I'll be able to do the standard twenty four hours resting. . Lol
    Ain't this life wonderful?????!!!!

On top of all this there's the fact that I miss mi dad so much that it's hard to get into any kind of festive mood.
This will be a tough un. I'm just pleased mum is with us. No way she could be in skegness.

    Sorry. I'm waffling on.
I'm currently sat in the cafe at moggisons stupid market.
Apparently we haven't done enough shopping this yr lol.
It's Hellish!!!!!!! I wish I'd brought mi headphones.

    Thanks as usual folks.

Just back from the docs. Seeing as mi shoulder is also playing up he didn't want to inject the knees so he gave me a monster dose of kenalog in the bum cheek.. lol
I suppose it's for the best as I would have been stuck resting and not been able to drive too much.

    HAPPY CHRISTMAS FOLKS :D

That sounds like a much better option right now, Tony. With luck, it will help all round. Resting, over Christmas, will not be an option for many of us and there’s no point in wasting a steroid jab by not resting as I believe they do tend to work less the more we have.

I hope all goes to plan and you have a very good Christmas.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Sorry to hear you've been suffering with a nasty bug, Tony. Snap :!: I have too for the past 10 days and it still won't go away. Hopefully, it might leave me alone tomorrow

I hope the injection works to ease your pain and that you will enjoy your Christmas despite everything. I know that you will be missing your Dad though. Both my parents died at Christmas, and even though it was years ago now, there's still that feeling of sadness at this time of the year. But you are a close family, so I know that you will all be supporting each other.
    Thinking of you
