I know it's the season of goodwill but there are limits

I took a quick break from present-wrapping, caught some of the lunchtime news and what do I find in front of me but Danny Alexander and George Osborne. This set me thinking. Please feel free to add your own candidates.

Can I please slap all the people who verbally pat me on the head simply because I'm in a wheelchair ? The latest example was today ; hubby and I were sitting beside the beach while Betsy dog was digging a hole and a woman walked up to us ; smiled sympathetically at Mr Jillyb , then said to me , " bet you're looking forward to getting your presents from father christmas aren't you ? " ! Jillyb

I hate to say it but Princess Diana's simpering face does it for me. I know she is no longer with us but there is a lot of TV coverage about.

I had no idea, when I started this thread, what a vicious crowd you were  However, Alex Ferguson? Oh yes please. A mere slap is far too good for him. Anyone with a hand that's up to a punch?

NO way - that fun'd be over far too fast! A nice, firm hand (preferably holding a five-day-old-now-dried-fish) and a good fifteen minutes or so of fun could be had.

David Cheap-as-Chips- Wossisname (mind's gone blank)

Paul Daniels (is it only me who thinks he looks like Stewie from Family Guy?)

    Chris Moyles.

Right, sad moo that I am I dug out this thread because I have some more candidates (who validate my sad moo qualification). It's those ladies who do that whole 'hair pat' thing whilst advertising some form of hair care product. Aaaaaaaaaaaaagh! DD

PS May I also include Nasser Hussein, Geoffrey Boycott and Ricky Gervais?

I would happily slap anyone over the age of 20 using a skateboard. I've just witnessed three blokes (who were far north of that age) whizzing individually down the opposite pavement, completely unaware of just how sad they look / are. DD

Can I add to DD's post about skateboarders and include over 40s on rollerblades ; we get a lot of these along the seafront here . They're usually half dressed and posing as they skid along the prom ; not a pretty site !

How about the modern mums who seem to think its more important to chat on their mobiles or listen to their iPods than it is to talk to their baby/toddler

I saw a picture of Camilla (prince Charles's wife) I would really enjoy myself if I could slap her face a few (hundred) times

she looks so much like a horse (sorry to the horses)
