Well my jab is due tomorrow and boy do I know it's due,got the toothache !in fingers wrists and left shoulder,am sure some of you understand the toothache reference,it's only the last two days that the aches have returned so it seems to be lasting longer now which is a good thing, also I am to up the hydroxy from 1 to 2 pills per day ,if I start to feel sick at all like last time then drop back to 1 .I am due to see nurse at the end of this month .
Does it take a long time to lose steroid weight gain?i can't seem to get rid of it,I have been off the steroids two months now.Mig

Well, the good news is it sounds as if the humira's working, mig, given you now know exactly when it's due  I hope this next jab goes as well as previous ones and, if can also increase the hydroxy, you can maybe plan a New Year's membership of the local athletics club  I shall be thinking of you, today, and sending positive vibes.

Sorry, can't help on the steroid front. I did the moon-face but no weight gain.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I know exactly what you mean about the 'thin end of the humira wedge' - hopefully you're done and dusted now and things will be feeling a litle easier by tonight.

As for the steroid weight loss, mine 'melted' as I reduced the steroids, it's risen again thanks to some over-indulgence at Christmas but that is being addressed as from today. The biggest indication that I was off them (apart from the increased pain levels) was that my face was back to normal.
