Thank you Wendy - it's scary and exiting

They grow so fast don't they?

I wish my Mum and Dad were alive to see it - I hadn't realised I would miss them when this happened :( .

Congratulations Toni's daughter. They do grow so very quickly. I'm sure your mum and dad would have been very proud of her.

Well done to your eldest, that is wonderful news! Isn't she a clever girl? Now I guess comes another dip into the reserves of the BOMAD (Bank of Mum and Dad) as insurance rears its ugly head - what about installing one of those tracker thingies? DD

Good on her the tests these days are a lot harder to pass so she must be good, now I can see mum's Nissan Mirca getting a few more miles on it from now on!

Well done, frogmorton junior! A great start to the year!

So, Toni, you have gained the time in which you were formally running her to friends' houses etc, lost the use of your car (It's always the mother's car they use) and gained a whole new set of worries about both daughter and car  Parenthood, eh?

I know my boys are way taller than me and I was taller than my parents so if it follows like this we'll soon live in a land of giants!!

Great news and very useful Toni.

My first driving lesson was booked for a few days after my Dad suddenly died. It spurred me on to do my best in his memory but was so sad he wasn't around to congratulate me when I passed and it was then that it hit me ,so know how you feel.
