Are you out there somewhere? It suddenly struck me that the forum hasn't heard from you for a while, I hope all is as well as it can be and Daisy says 'beep-beep' to Jessicar. DD

May I re-phrase my post? If anyone knows anything about Ironic could you please let us know if she is OK? I/we don't need details but it would be good to know that she is still about. DD

I don't know her but thought could anyone get in to her profile and send her a message? It might trigger an email to her if she is still using the internet.

    BOO!!!!
Hi, yes I’m still here. Bless you for asking about me. Life just got out of kilter a wee bit, as its apt to do now and then.
I have been a magnet for all the bugs and infections that have been knocking about over the last few months, plus a few other hiccups, but I am ok honest.
I am starting mtx injections in the next couple of weeks, the delivery of the first batch is booked for this week. All being well and getting the right dosage sorted. ( a bit of a mix up with the verbal and written amount).
Hubby says he won’t feel a thing but between first time nerves, closed eyes and a dodgy right thumb poor old Teddy might be in for a bit of a shock! s050.gif I think it’s the third week that you actually go solo so there is enough time for me to get out of wuss mode.
Hi Joan, I hope you and Sue are ok and your foot and ankle are a little easier for you.
DD, Jessicar is still good except that the clock seems to be an hour out for months at a time. ( I really must get the manual out again)! Beep and a Toot to Daisy car.
Sticky, how are you? Hope the hydroxy and mtx are still working well for you.
Hileena and Barbara, I am sorry to see you are still going round in circles and continuing to suffer. I wish you could get some relief soon. Oh for a magic wand eh?
So many new names on the forum, sorry too many to mention but a big hello to you all.

Well, that's a relief! :D It's so good to hear from you again but not so good to hear that you've been in the wars one way and another for so long. :( Good luck with the meth injections, they are a doddle once you get used to 'em and let's hope it helps, yes?

As for car clocks Daisy's no longer functions as I went through a bad patch of battery flattening in winter 2011, the clock loses all info whenever the battery is removed and that happened about four times. I now no longer have the required 'poke' to reset it. DD

It's lovely to see you back, Ironic. It sounds as if things haven't been too good for you and I very much hope that the new year will bring better health, starting with the meth jabs.

Hi Ironic glad to see your still around! Your poor OH having to stick you!! I bet their maybe some shaky hands!! I would prefer to do it myself straight away so that way I can't chicken out of it!! Even though I do have a needle phobia, do you have that?
Good to see your still about! As others have said it's a shame when members just dissappear off the forum.

Well the delivery of the jabs is tomorrow so one step nearer. Yes DD I hope they work for me too. I have never been too great on the tablets and increasing them would I think have been the last straw.

Yes Hileena, I have noticed that about every six months the clock suddenly decides to come correct. I think it will be about March so not worth knocking the dust of the car manual now! Thanks for the welcome back.

Bubba, I am alright having my bloods taken….I just cannot watch them do it. My eyes are firmly fixed to the corner of the ceiling! I must have worded it wrong, hubby wont feel anything as he will be at work when the nurse comes to show me how to inject myself. So the shaking hands will be mine! The nurse will do the first one to demonstrate and to make sure it is done correctly, then the next week will be my turn with her watching. Yikes! After that all being well I will be going solo!

Hi Sticky, thanks for the good wishes. Roll on the warmer weather! We must be due for a decent summer surely. I think we will all feel a lot better with a little sunshine.

Hi Applerose, nice to meet you. I hope you are doing okish.

Me too, Ironic. I'm sure I've read others on here who hate having jabs or bloods taken but have then been amazed at how easily they've coped with doing their own jabs. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you're soon a member of that gang
