Anyone had hip or knee replaced with Mr Patil at Southern general?
At the moment I'm waiting for a date to go in and wondered if anyone has had surgery there.

    Hi

Sorry not had any surgery(apart from biopsies) but attend one of the neurological wards every three weeks for treatment and will be seeing a rheumatologist there in a few weeks that I am very happy about as I rate the hospital very highly and one of the cleanest I have been in, hopefully someone will come along to answer your question..................Marie

Just thought I would let you know that there is an excellent forum dealing with replacement knees, hips, etc. Gives wonderful advice by a well versed nurse who has been invoved since the very first hip replacement was done many moons ago.
