It would take more than a village full of dead folk wondering around in the fog to scare me away Mell. Lol
Good book though. That, the rats and Survivor.
Turned into half decent films as well.

We had a lovely sunny morning but the mist descended at about 10.30 then the temperature dropped and it became increasingly foggy. The good thing was that the town was very quiet when we went in - result! DD

It gave us the added bonus of quiet roads DD. I was happy about that :D
    Lol

There were plenty of the usual idiots with no lights on at all

We came across two cars that were pulled up at opposite kerb sides facing each other, they had somehow had a head on collision! !

Ah, been there and fretted too. White Van Man (and at least two Audi drivers) were having a field-day: we became aware said beasts as they drove towards us sans illumination but, luckily, on their side of the road : they, however, could see us as he was actually USING the lights that matter. Just how difficult is it? I swear that those who have fog lights a-gleam on clear nights have no idea how to read their dashboard - and similarly no idea how to turn said lights on when needed. Reading the supplied handbook would help but as all the sinners were male . . . . . . . . . DD

What also gets my goat is those who use rear fog lights when its not foggy, also when I am on the back of a line of cars in the fog I keep the rear fog on but when a car comes up behind I turn it of as you blind them so they can't see your break lights and anyway it's only there to warn anyone coming up from the rear of you.
