People have been discussing it on Chit Chat.

    Hi Villier

A pleasure. I listened to most of at the time it was on air yesterday and was pleased that it was discussed because people should be made aware of this disease. It is not talked about anywhere near enough on the media.

Thanks Elna for the link. I agree that it is important to raise awareness of this debilitating illness. I have SLE among other things and lost a family member aged 40 to SLE, it is a very serious disease.

Interesting thing about colds! I always said that at the hospital and it was dismissed as being in my head. The rare cold I had coincided with treatment controlling RA.

Listening to it now and the bus story reminds me of when I was crossing the road and thought to myself (not in a depressing way - honest!) that if I was hit by a car it couldn't hurt more than the pain I was in at the time!

What a sensible and informative programme!

So good to hear that you found the programme sensible and informative, as I did too. I hope many people were listening to this when it was on air and that some of it registered with them. Now you know you were always right about colds.

Does anyone remember Carola? I think she was finally diagnosed with lupus and disappeared from here - I often wonder how she's getting on. Thank you for the link, Elna, It was an interesting discussion - it's yet another thing we don't know that much about. At times that list seems endless. :( DD

    Hi DD

I do remember the username Carola - she has not been on here for a year or so. Yes, I agree, it was interesting listening and yes, the list does seem endless, doesn't it?
