Good luck with your application.
Down here in Kent they take 8-10 weeks to process an application. I sent my Mum's renewal in 25th October; she received her badge 9th January. Conversely, the relevant department received my dad's appln on 9th January and he should have his within the next week, but he does have a lung cancer diagnosis.
I always check with the relevant department to make sure they've received the application and it's in the system and then make a diary note to check after 6 weeks what's going on.
Mine expires 4th April but I've had to send mine in today or I won't get my new one before my current one runs out. It's madness!

You can always call them Mike, they dont mind but at least they could update you, I was told over the phone I had been allowed after I had an assessment at home. From applying to receving it, 3 weeks.

I finally heard about my application yesterday. I had to make an appointment for an OT assessment.
That will be next Friday.
I have been through one of them before and failed, so I am forearmed as it were.
I will do what I can to ensure I get the badge this time.
I will let you all know.0 -
Hi
I cannot understand why they make you attend an ATOS assessment style for a blue badge, its hardly as if it is a financial benefit is it? I mean the main aim is to make life easier for the holder to be able to get to places easier?
Crazy, bonkers!
