I have had a lot of pain in my groins and upper thighs for some months now. Just lately it has become more frequent and no amount of painkillers have any affect. I was wondering if this is part of fibromyalgia altho' I am also spinabifida.
Any ideas?

Hello charisse, that doesn't sound good, you poor thing. I think this is something you need to raise with your GP because he will know your medical history and he is best-placed to advise. I hope he can help - and please be careful with the amount of pain relief you are taking, that can cause its own troubles too. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Oh blimey. I have also had groin pain and have been prescribed dyhyradcodine. When it's bad I can barely put weight on my leg! I think it's due to weakening of the muscles as it feels like my leg is falling out of its socket.CI also have Syringomyelia.

I wonder if a physio referal wod help you? Good luck. Mark

Hiya, I also have groin and thigh pain and now have diagnosis of Fibro. I have asked other fibroites about this and it seems to be quite common amongst them but as do so many other things it may not be for you. Do get it checked out.
    Hope all goes ok :)
