Hi the doctor has said i have non specific arthur!!! I have got be be honest my GP is brilliant but what does it mean???? I must admit my aches and pains are worse this winter but now it seems to have affected by arm strength/ body. Lifting my arms aches is like lifting heavy weights and my right arm is quite painful but not at the shoulder it is my muscle at the top of my arm!!!! ( But not all the time).Tired not sleeping well just out of salts. Its quite odd because i am in pain ie when i turn over in bed my hips hurt but to press or touch they are fine...Stiff in the morning or after sitting down and still for to long. How can this be possible???? I am still active but today it has driven me nuts.. I suppose i would like a clearer picture or answer to what i have or what can be done....much like everyone else on this forum. Would be interested to here if anyone else is like this....

    Hi Lupin

I know my doctor feels that all the problems I have now are arthritis but unless it is debilitating just keep taking the pain killers. I have so many pain killers now at different strengths. You may never find out exactly but keep going as you are. At the end of the day, this is all we can do.

I think he means it's a form of arthritis but one that cannot, as yet, be formally named. There are many and numerous forms of the auto types, for years I was classed as an 'inflammatory arthritis' before my skin obliged with a bout of psoriasis. The lack of label won't alter meds etc and diagnosis can take time (as many of us on here know). DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben
