Update on DLA appeal

Hi all, we persevered and appealed against the decision to cancel phoebe's Dla. Got a phone call today, saying I couldn't get carers allowance and said something about the 9/12/12. So I decided to phone the department for work and pensions and low and behold the gentleman on the other side said the decision had been reconsidered and she is entitled to the lower rate care component.
Every little helps towards getting her shoes and getting the items she needs. I do hope that anyone going through what we went through preservers it may well change the decision.
