Hi,
I dont expect this to be read beforehand but I've got a hospital appointment.
This wonderful eye specialist that i usually see{not} :roll:

Its not until 3.45pm today.

I've tried to get Peter to let me cancel it.
He's the one that will be driving. I have hardly been out the door.
He just keeps saying...we'll be OK :roll: {Even though yesterday we watched people digging their cars out to go somewhere then not able to get back up the street again}

Typical man.....no we'll be fine.

Oh well....I suppose I have to go

Love
Hileena

    I don't know what to wish you, Hileena - that he can get the car out or that he can't :roll: However, he will because, as we all know, men see travel warnings as applying to other people not them. Mine dug out yesterday so as to be able to get me to the dentist today. Fortunately no more snow - but no less. I hope it goes better than you fear :)

    Hi Hileena, I hope you get out alright, have good journeys with a good appointment in between, and then get back in alright! I think that covers all bases :wink:
    Seriously though, I often find, when I'm dreading an appointment, it turns out to be a good one. I hope that's the case for you.

    Hey Hileena, Men still have caveman values! Anything that looks impossible they can do for their women! Hope you get safely to your appointment and that it is a good positive appt and you don't get stuck getting home! If you do make him carry/piggy back you to your house and once through the door you can give him the 'I told you so'!! Take care and wrap up warm!!

    Hi Everyone
    I love all of your comments.
    Of course men see the warning notices as applying to others...not to them.
    He's been out digging for about 2 hours....a few other neighbours came out as well so they were all helping each other. Its not snowing at the moment but i'm not leaving until about 2.30 or so. It could before that :roll:
    This is rthe consultant that needs a personality transplant :lol:
    Had him the last time and the time before was lucky enough to have his registrar....but twice before that...it was him :( :x
    I'll keep my mouth shut {if thats possible :lol: until I get inside and then say I told you so {if its necessary}
    I will wrap up warm.....its only my eyes he's looking at so dont have to strip for any examinations.
    Tomorrows appt at the pain clinic is 9.45am and its quite a bit away so he'll have to be out digging a bit earlier tomorrow :wink:
    Fri is my acupuncture....not so far away but still have to get the car out :roll:
    Love

    Hi Hileena,
    I’ve just missed you but I hope you are lucky and get a different one to look at your eyes today. You certainly have a busy week and isn’t it always a case of s@ds law that things go wrong beyond your control at these times.
    Good luck with the pain clinic tomorrow too.
    I have only just got out of my drive after 4 days, the main roads are ok but the slope on our drive is a nightmare. We are not as bad as up your way but poor hubby has had to dig us out twice now. :roll:

    Hi
    Well I'm back from the eye appt.
    The problem about getting my car out is.....Mine goes into the drive first and then Peters behind it....so he has to dig himself out and clear the car and then my car has to be cleared as well. So havent bothered much. I'll have forgotten how to drive :lol:
    It was the same bloke.....but I think he must be mellowing in his old age :o was reasonably nice.
    No further forward with a diagnosis. So I'm back on the nose spray and instructions about bathing my eyes etc and come back in 4 months time.
    Oh well thats one over.
    Love
    Hileena

    Well I suppose one good thing is that it hopefully won't be snowing by the time of your next appointment! :D

    I'm glad you got there and back OK and the appointment was reasonable even if it didn't take things any further forward. On to the Pain Clinic now :roll:
