Over the last week I have had severe pain in my left hand and my first two fingers have been actually bent over to look like a claw I can't touch them or stratin them as the pain is terrible I just have to wait until they unlock then they are stiff and painful for the rest of the day, it's usually my hands and feet that troubles me daily but this pain is on a different level any help or advice would be much appreciated

Hi, Sorry I might not be much help has I have OA, but I do have an hand splint that really does help and I can imagine it stopping the claw effect.
Also I had injections around three months ago and they worked brilliant...just about wearing off but the pain is not has severe..... not yet anyway.x

    Hi Christimay

I tend to think it's gone on long enough to justify seeing someone about them you know :?

Barbara might be right - an injection may help a bit?

I too think Barbara has given you some good advice, Christimay. It's well worth asking about these things.
