    Hi Jaja

I don't really know ,but it could be a bit like the 'challenge your long-term condition' course I went on with A/C???

That was really good. I was the youngest there, but it was really helpful. Full of tips to cope with pain on a day to day basis.

I hope someone who has been to one comes along to tell you about them soon anyway.

    Love

I had to go to a "knee group", not sure if it is the same thing, but basically there were a maximum of 6 patients (in my case all with TKR's) and 2 physios. It lasted an hour and we went through the post surgery stretching exercises, then onto a static bike (if you could bend enough) or just floor pedals for five minutes, then a circuit of exercises all designed to build muscle strength and balance. It was pretty good on the whole.

As mine's RA, I've never been able to join one of these classes but what chookgate describes sounds very likely to me. I've always been given the same basic exercise routine for both knees and hips. What helps one helps the other so it makes sense to put them in the same class. I hope you enjoy it and it helps.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
