Got all my toiletries packed including baby wipes.New nighties and loose jogging bottoms so as to get my bandaged leg in. Think that's all.Just have to remember to take a few £1 coins to buy newspaper etc. And yes I'm getting very nervous now, think its worse as I know roughly what to expect this time

I hope you have large pockets, because I can get quite claustrophobic!
It's a revision of you TKR isn't it?
I hope everything goes well, and you have a speedy recovery.
Thinking of you,

Best of luck Eileen!
Dont forget to take your mobile and i-pod as they are allowed in hsopitals now, even laptops are but we can survive without them when we are recoupertaing.....Also take things such as puzzle book, mints anda body spray...Just saying what I found useful...Oh and take a warm cardi in case the ward is cold - I ended up giving mine to a fellow patient as she only had thin cotton nightwear on!
Good luck for monday me dear!

Dear Eileen
Jut to wish you all the very best second time around. You are one brave lass and have been so much more patient than I am sure I would ever have been, in waiting for a decision to be made on what was best to do for you after the failed TKR. I am sure they will take you under their wing and do their utmost for you. You certainly deserve VIP treatment with all that you have had to contend with, for what seems ages.
The waiting will soon be over and I truly wish you well this time. Power to you Eileen. So looking forward to hearing from you post op.
Love and giant gentle hugs

Elna, I'm thinking positive this time although Ive always been positive and won't give up. He can't make it any worse so hopefully from Tuesday I will have a knee that works this time round..... I'm just nervous because I know what's coming this time but at least I live in a house now with a garden I can chuck Mollie into, just the stairs to master to get to the loo0

Bless you Eileen. As you know I have followed your story post op, been so appalled and felt for you so much. It was nothing that you did, you did all the right things, tragically for whatever reason, it did not work. Of course you are nervous, we all are, first time with the op and as you say, you have been there before. You will be ok with the stairs this time. Betcha! I have been amazed at your positivity throughout. You little soldier. It will be ok this time. Soon be over.
Catch up soon,
Love

I hope you end up with a lovely working leg, Eileen. Forget about last time. That was then and this is now. Just remember to rest and exercise afterwards. Do all the physio tells you - nothing more and nothing less. I'm sure it'll be good.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
