Evening everyone
I have at last after being so anxious been for the dreaded esa assessment I think its gone ok as the dr sympathised with me and listened very well to what hubby told her about my mobility. As this being a new diagnosis last week of o/a in knees she was cringing with the knee noise I said you should feel it then she said I wouldn't like to have a waiting game now for results but she did advise me to use crutches but i am useless on them and at 43 i am embaresed with having to think that i will have to walk with a stick.
Thought i'd post back with the note xx

HI Eileen
Glad you had the medical and its over and done with - now to wait for the decision.
Now then please dont take this the wrong way but very often they do sympthaise but then put down that you have ticked their boxes...I say this cos they did this with me so its a cautionary tale....I sincerely hope your examiner was genuine and did see you have very obvious problems and sees you as not fit for work....
I am about same age (45) and have had TKR just over 3.5 months ago...
Good luck

Thank you both yes I am so glad it is over, the examiner was talking to hubby and she was explaining about the new rules and stuff but she was gentle and that she didn't want to put me through more pain as she could see of what pain I was in (if only she could feel it though) we will wait and see I am optimistic but hey its over xxx I have got long history of illnesses so who knows.0
