Had my thumb fused last wednesday so I'm in plaster at the moment. The op was ok and I came home wednesday night. Thursday lunchtime I started with terrible stomach pains which by evening meant nhs direct ringing me an ambulance. I managed to get out of a&e by 1am, turns out the general anaesthetic had stopped my bowel working. Thursday I'd started with a sore throat and now I sound like a man. My husband and son have been ill with flu this week and now I have it. Son is 85% better, but still very whingy and husband is recovering.
I feel bloody awful.

That's a lot to cope with all at once, Jenzie. I'm glad the bowel's been sorted but flu is the last thing you need. Do you not qualify for a flu jab? I had mine in October. Mind you, there are a lot of nasty bugs about right now. I hope you're a bit better today. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
