I have been on enbrel for over 2 years and have a permanant stuffy nose(small complaint against all other things associated with R A)
Its now getting annoying ,have been told its a side effect of enbrel,
Could possibly take antihistamines(rhuemy nurses suggestion) but dont know which, been using a nasal spray last 2 months but not advisable long term.
Any suggestions welcomed

Sorry, can't help. I'd guess that the pharmacist would be able to advise you though.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Chrissy

You need to go to your doctor and they will prescribe a nasal spray for you...The menthol one is not recommended for long term use so the sooner you get to the docs the better...I suffer from this as I have allergic rhinitis, and other allergies so use them everyday....You could in the meantime try the likes of otrivine?

Hi Chrissy, I get this. It is mildly annoying but I don't do anything for it though there is a salt water nasal spray on the market which one pharmacist recommended. I usually take an antihistamine for hay fever but not through out the year.

    Hi Chrissie,
I have bad sinus problems and the over the counter sprays are not {as you say} advised for long term use....I used it long term.
I had an eye appointment {running eyes} and he prescribed a nasal spray  It hasnt made any difference to my eyes but it has really helped my nasal problems.
    So yes....go to the GP

    Love

I would go to your GP we had a lad under the hospital and he had nose drops everyday.. i am sure they can give you something to expand/dry out your nose. Not a screw driver or anything :lol::lol::lol: good luck.
