Hello all I,m here
didn,t get a revision after all but he changed something to do with knee,don,t know what though plus he said my knee was a tangled mess adhesion wise.i was in theatre around 3 1/2 hours and feel great.still bed bound due to epidural and catheter plus am on pcm machine for 48 hours.get rid of them tomorrow but so far looks promising.lovely hospital with great staff

    Dear Eileen,

    SO lovely to hear from you. Told you didn't I? :wink: I knew you would be looked after well, this time around. :) A little tip, sometimes around day 5 you may feel a little down. If so, it will not last. It is quite usual, according to my lovely consultant, post op.

    Wow you were still on the table for a fair amount of time eh but no revision is better in terms of recovery etc..Im just amazed you can be bothered to log on here right after your op...With me it was the last thing on my mind....

    Morning girls n boys..... Actually slept like a baby last night,be it sitting up but I was shattered.waiting to see if I can get epidural,catheter and machine off today then we will see what pains like. With being allergic morphine they talking about putting me on oxydon

    Pain management bloke been round,to late to detach me from epidural today,so another day in bed for me,at least I can drink gallons of water without having to worry

    By the way don't do what I did last night took my oxygen mask apart and tried to get pain relief from the blue end lol

    You just rest up and dont have too much pain relief :lol: sounds like it confused you!

    This epidural medicine is good whatever it is.they have now upped the machine to 90 degree bend and my knee is actually working alongside it

    Day 4
    Am still attached to epidural,catheter and cpm so can't see me getting out of bed today again,so much for me going home Friday lol
    As for myself I feel great and when they made the bed today I was able to bend my own knee so was well chuffed
    We've got another 2 inpatients that had their ops yesterday and they are up an about.Im getting jealous now and stiff

    I am very very pleased about your bend. I do hope that you will soon be up and about like the others. Your case is different to them - hopefully their's have been straightforward.
