Any ideas on stopping dogs pooping on my front lawn

Hi
As anyone any humane ways of preventing random dogs using my lawn as their toilet!
I can't spend 24 hours on dog patrol!
Most dog owners are very sensible and carry little bags
Not many dogs run around free
So can't think whose dog it-might be
Thanks
Maria

    Oh Dear Maria

    It isn't foxes is it???

You do get some people who don't seem to care and other people's pets' poop is just not nice is it? :(

Luckily the vast majority are responsible.

I know with cats there are certain plants you can plant that they dislike, but I am not sure about dogs sorry :?

I HAVE AN ALLOTMENT, YOU WOULD KNOW IF IT'S A FOX, THE SMELL IS HORRENDOUS, WE HAVE A GRASS LAWN OUTSIDE OUR FLAT AND THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT LET THEIR DOGS FOUL IS AWFUL, MY OTHER HALF SHOUTS AND BANGS ON THE WINDOWS ONLY TO HAVE A TWO FINGER SALUTE FOLLOWED BY A QUICK EXIT FROM THEM. :x

    Hi
I didn't get close enough to smell it
If I see a dog doing it and owners with it if I feel up to it I'm going to follow them see where they live then later on go round with it and dump it on their doorstep!!
