I am curious. Does anyone have very strong salt cravings? Or none at all?

Certainly not 'cravings'. I do use salt but try to keep it to a minimum.

I have read that Arthritis sufferers are often low in Potassium. I wouldn't expect anyone low in potassium to crave sodium.

OK. I don't have that (just PsA plus OA) and everyone's arthritis plus its effects is unique. I learned early on that what the docs told me (thus leading me to develop my expectations) were not in the slightest bit relevant to my experience of arthritis.

I'm no scientist but I suspect that maybe postassium and sodium are slightly different entities? I never cook with salt, neither do we add it to our meals. Every now and again I get cramp so I force myself to eat a banana or two (for the potassium). Even more rarely I get an afternoon craving (usually around 5pm) for mature cheddar and that sorts the 'salt' craving. Is it the diseases? Is it the meds? Is it just one of 'those things'? Who knows?
