    Sorry Iris I know it is late but would like to add my twopenoth too, I was just wondering about you a few days ago I remember when I was first looking for advice yours was always the one I watched out for, you always gave good, clear and precise advice and were always very helpful. I hope you are doing well.

    Right everyone Dorcas has asked me to post to thank you all for remembering her birthday

    She is in hospital at the mo or she would have posted to thank everyone herself.

    I promise you all she is ok and busy joking about the gorgeous white stockings :lol:

    Well, I'm pleased she's OK, but what a way to spend your birthday!!!
    I sincerely hope Iris is as well as she can be, and will soon be home.

    I am sorry I did not realise either. I have not been on the forum so much lately with lots of others things intervening, some good and others not so.

    You take care, I miss you not posting. It seems like ages, well it is but I can understand why, what with this and that. ;)

    I hope your stay in hospital helps you and that you can be home soon.

    Thank you so much stickywicket for posting this Happy Birthday Thread...that was very thoughtful of you..... and to Barbara, Mellman, Numpty, lululu, katekelly, Frogmorton (Toni), JuliePF47, villier, Elna, tkatchev (Elizabeth), Bubbadog, and Dachshund (Joan) for your kind wishes!

    Toni ... you are a lovely person for, firstly, letting me know about the thread while I was in hospital! (which fairly cheered me up :D ).... and then for passing on my thanks to you all. :D

    I was in hospital for removal of a benign tumour and further biopsy (great timing, going in on my birthday :o ) .... but am home now and doing ok; though tired and a bit sore. I did receive the special gift of a pair of white stockings in recompense though! ( SW :lol: )

    Tomorrow I have a pre-op assessment for a second TKR... so I'm sure the stockings will come in useful!

    I just wanted to let you know I appreciated your messages and to say thank you very much folks for remembering me :wink::D .

    Hi Iris, I'm really pleased you're home and feeling OK. I hope you're able to rest and recuperate.

    Oh Iris, I am sorry that I missed your birthday.

    Lovely to hear from you anyway but not so good about you being in hospital.

    Love the stockings by the way, dignity at all times eh!! :lol:

    Good luck with the pre op tomorrow, I hope that things will improve for you very soon.
