Hi
I have got my date for my pre op assessment for my 2nd THR, 18th April. I was told I will have my op within 6 weeks of the pre op, so probably by end of May.
I am having a bad day with hips/back/right knee pain today so the date can`t come quick enough really!! Although I will still be nervous when the day comes.
Pocket duties for the pre op will be welcomed x

Hi
I'm all ready for pocket duties
Got stash of chocolate waiting
Pre assessments are not too bad but you can be waiting around for ages which is no good when pain and stiffness is in full swing
My hospital say theirs can last 3 hours so take a cushion and a picnic with you plus something to read I take my kindle to all my appointments even just for blood test as you never know what can happen
Take care

Sorry you're suffering so much at the moment.
I'll be in your pocket for your pre-op, hoping all goes well.
Take care,

Good luck with the pre op, mine only took around an hour and the op itself was only a week later, so I didn't have time to worry and am now three weeks post TKR and everything is looking good, Hope you are as lucky and don't forget to fully charge the kindle.
Best wishes.
