My first blood results

I have just had my next blood test and got my results for my last one 2 weeks ago I have no idea what they mean but by checking them from the back of the book they all seem normal except ALT/AST says it should be less than 50 u/l mine is 67 is there anything to worry about here or not.

    Mine varies between 18 and 28 but has been considerably higher. When my doctors have been concerned about a result they've contacted me direct - if yours don't then I reckon that means they're happy with it. DD

    Yeah that's what I thought cause she never said anything about it but I have noticed she has bruised me with this one how dare she :lol:

    hi , 69 a bit high , it is Liver function tests & shows inflammation of the liver , mine went up to 170 & at that point they took me off methotrexate but later put me back on the drug but with higher folic acid 5mg six days a week & my ALT returned to normal & been normal for about 8 years

    have you got your CRP & ESR result

    Nothing marked for CRP and says 5 for ESR or PV.

    what level Mtx you on & how much folic acid they given you , hope the drug will help control your arthritis , make sure you have regular blood test

    2.5mg x 8 meth and 5mg folic I have blood test every 2 weeks for 8 weeks then 1 a month there after I hope so too this weekend was the worst I have ever been thankgod for my daughter I could hardly move after I took the Co-Codamol im back to rhuematology again next Tuesday I might ask for the steroid injection again as it did take some time to start working but did eventually make some difference.
