Hi
I have day surgery tomorrow {Wed}. Root Nerve injections in my spine. L2 / L3. The last ones I had that didnt work :( were L4 / L5.
I have my doubts that this will work either but you never know.
This is something else from the pain clinic.
That reminds me I have a one to one appointment with the clinical psychologist 2/4/13. Thats from the pain clinic as well.
But the main thing is tomorrow.
Thanks everyone
Love
Hileena

You never know, Hileena. These might just work. I do hope so and I'll be willing them to help.

I'll be there too. Try to think positive, these injections are as much about diagnosing your pain generator to guide future treatment as they are about giving you pain relief. Little comfort when you are in pain, I know, but hopefully you might get closer to a treatment plan by trying these next ones.

    Well I'm back........10.30am :o:o
I arrived there at 8am ...Normal time for day surgery. The waiting room was packed and i thought its going to be the same as the last time.....almost tea time before I get out. Pessimist
I was first on the list :D
It took a bit longer than it should have because he had to do it a second time....As usual my stupid back....couldnt find the correct place at first
Its been done and i'm home.....could hardly walk out of the hospital because my leg was so numb but I had Peter with me.
    Apparently it will be about 6 hours before my leg is back to normal {whatever that is :lol: }
Thats about all I can tell you at the minute.

    Love

Bit late with this Hileena. Put your feet up relax. I wouldn't have been much good in your pocket anyway.
    Hope it helps. May x

Make sure you take it easy for a couple of days. My surgeon reckons you have to rest to give them a chance. How nice to be out so early - that's a whole day you got back for free!!

I hope it lasts, Hileena. If so, one bad night will seem a small price to pay.
