Hi, I'm Susan. I'm 30 and I've had RA for as long as I can remember, but only diagnosed 18. I'm married to Stuart who is also my carer.
I guess I'm just looking for people who understand what I'm going through, as I don't really have many friends because I can't really get out to socialise.
I hope to talk to some new people soon

Hello, it's lovely to meet you and I am pleased you have found us; I hope we will be able to help with information and support. I'm 54, happily married and began my auto-immune arthritis aged 37. It was eventually decided that I have psoriatic arthritis, OA has also joined the party so I have an arthritic foot in both camps.
I'm on meth, sulph and humira for the former, pain dullers and diclofenac for the latter. I am now reliant on a rollator for getting about but on the better days I can get by with just my crutches. I've changed how I do many things in order to cater for the demands of my arthritis but I can still just about manage to do the basics, even if they take me all day!
I wish you well. DD

Hi Suzu
Welcome to AC a place where you never need to feel alone, there is always someone about to listen and help, I'm afraid I can't be of asistance on the RA as it's Osteo arthritis I have but I can lend an ear and give plenty of support as a lot of people here will do, we all live with chronic pain, most people hang around LWA and chit-chat, hope to see you around soon...................tc....................Marie x0 -

Hi Susan
Nice to meet you. I'm new to this site. I am 42 and have been diagnosed with arthritis in my thumbs and its really getting me down. I'm hoping to get support from this forum and from what I have read so far, everyone is so lovely. I hope you are feeling ok today.
