My Rheumatologist just rang me. At long last, he has the funding for my injected Meth. I now await a call from Healthcare at home, to arrange my first dose.
It's been a long wait, apparently, if my previous Rheumy had applied for it when I first failed with the two Anti TNFs, there wouldn't have been a problem with the funding.
I really hope it works for me. I've been taking Meth in tablet form for seven years, but my RA has never been "controlled". I have been offered Retuximab, but I'm not at all keen.
So fingers crossed :D

Woo-hoo! I was told that my hospital makes my meth so I collect it myself every month but Healthcare at Home do my humira. My meth is in a syringe to which I add a needle, yours may be different. Good luck with it, I hope it helps. DD

That's good news Numpty though I'm surprised they had to wait for funding. I thought it was just a routine thing. Anyway, hope it does the job.

Thank you all for your replies :D I too hope it works, because I really don't want Retuximab.
I'm not sure why there was a problem with funding, other than my GP practice, refused to do it. Times are hard for everyone!
LV please be careful with those dance moves! I don't think I'd make a very good midwife
