Hi everyone three weeks ago I went for a fasting blood test, which came back with a very high Iron & ESR reading, my doctor was on a weeks holiday so the doctor i saw said he would get in touch with the Hematologist who wants the blood test repeated tomorrow morning & then if they come back the same he will take it from there. Is there anyone else going through or had the same results. The doctor I saw said he had never seen results that high, Any info would be welcome.

Hi Sue,
I haven't been through this myself and looking that no one has replied maybe it's not that common. I think many of us with RA are inclined towards being a bit anemic rather than having too many red blood cells.
A high ESR rate probably you're not feeling too good at the moment, sorry about that.
Let us know what happens after today's results.

I always prefer the hospital for the same reason as you Sue. I must admit I don't like the fasting bit with some blood tests. Hope you've made up for the lack of breakfast.
Exercising too still it does help to keep us going.
I shall look out for your results.
Thanks for your wishes, hugs to youLove, Legs x
