Foot Pain

Hi Folks,

can anybody help????

I have bunions on both feet, the hospital tell me I have synovitis, but I have all the symptoms of gout. I have been tested for gout and the tests have come back negative. Gp tells me the gout tests are not very reliable, which isn't helpful.

What do I do next? The hospital tell me there is othing more they can do other than surgery, which they are reluctant to do and the GP tells me to see my specialist.

In the meantime I am in agony with my feet, painkillers do not help, walking does not help, wearing shoes does not help. It has gotten to the point where I get random pains in my bunions that make me shout out loud with the pain. This can last for 10 minutes or 2 hours.

Any/All suggestions welcome.

Thanks
PhillyCee

Seek a second opinion from a GP within your practice.
