Good luck today hope it all goes well. Looks like we're the early risers!!! Mind not by choice a small person thinks 6 is perfectly reasonable to get up now!

Hi Unsure, the back rest looks similar to one the OT got for me. It does the job! I didn't get on with it, but then I'm very difficult  , if you don't have a problem sleeping sitting up it should be fine. You may need extra pillows to cushion the metal frame.
The mattress lifter is a great idea, unfortunately my bed and mattress, weren't suitable. The chap that brought it out said my mattress was too thick, and my wooden bed with slats was unsuitable. He said it would damage both bed and mattress, and they're quite new. (I hope the OT checked your bed for suitability) I'm sure the mattress lifter will be more comfortable than my pillow lifter was.
    Good luck,
    Numpty

That sounds like good news, Unsure. I hope the infusion helps....and the next one too.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    It's a Retuximab infusion isn't it?
I'm pleased you've got the first one out of the way, and hope the next one goes as well.
    Take care,
