Following on from my post about my recent traumas I decided I needed to start doing positive changes so bearing in mind my financial struggles decided to look at DLA again, I did a pip questionnaire as not one for DLA on that site but Low and behold I may apparantly qualify for advanced rate living and standard mobility, I mean I really didnt consider myself eligible a while back - have always been so active, but I think that was in part due to not accepting my ra changing recently having had so many good years then going downhill has been a shock all over again with this post baby flare, now 2 years on I realise that without having a steroid inj I really am quite disabled nothing is changing and I think 2 years is prob a reasonable time to accept I may not be under control  , filling out the questions on my non-steroid dampened condition it appears I would be eligible. So there it is I am going to give it a go pip won't start til June in my area so I guess will try for DLA then go through the pip as and when.
I really am stubborn and suppose that's stopped me accepting I am disabled and need to start helping myself and my family cope, I'm such a numpty!!
2013 is our year for change!
