Hi

Im now 6 months post TKR and my ligaments are still to heal fully which is sore when rising from sitting position, changing gear in car (everyone keeps asking why don't I own an automatic one, well already had to change vehicle due to leak and the automatic ones are more expensive and scarce to come by)....
The knee does puzzle me cos I can kneel on it, I say this but it never feels like I am fully putting weight on it but its not a problem to me, I don't get that horrible feeling most say they get and also I can sit on the couch with my new knee bent to the side on the couch next to me...My dad who has had THR and TKR says he could never do this yet....I have walked longer too this week for over 45 mins (dont tell DWP) but it did go away from me twice during that time.....
Still feels like a long way from being a "normal knee" mind you..
