What a terribly sad story. My heart goes out to this poor man's family and also to others who are in the same position.

I do so understand where the man and others are coming from. I was initially put on incapacity benefit due to depression and severe anxiety. I can control my mind. But recently I had to go for my medical and, well I had to take diazepam and my hubby had to hold me to try and keep me calm.
Now with arthritis as well. I know I couldn't cope with going back to work. Why don't they see this. Well, they do don't they, it has been bought to their attention. But nothing will change.
Rant over. Sorry.Karen xx0 -
So sad Unsure
Dreadful that some people feel pushed that far
Sensible of them to add the samaritans number at the end of the article.0 -
He had all the medical backing yet they still suggested he was fit for work. He must have felt totally helpless.
