Well Well Well - Shocked Op.....!!

Well peeps, I'm Back.....

Gotta phone call offering me a cancellation slot "out of the blue" for surgery within 48 hours and YES - I've been done..... :D

Bilateral PFJ replacements....

My gosh it was certainly a shock to the system and yes it hurt.... But now home and starting the long recovery process of exercises and mobility etc.

I have got the District Nurses coming out tomorrow to remove ALL 49 STAPLES :o Not really looking forward to that, but guess it will make movement a bit easier once done, and two clean dressings applied...

Struggling with Lifting my legs off the bed, but guess the muscles will stregthen in time...

I managed to climb the stairs when I got home, and my gosh it was extremely hard, so I will stay upstairs a few days before I attempt venturing back down...

    I'm really glad you have had your op I'm still waiting for a date for my foot surgery it's twelve weeks now
    As for removal of clips it's just like tiny pin pricks

    well no time to worry about it then and every day now another step on your road to recovery ,keep well ,wishing you a quick recovery and hope your not in too much pain wynnie

    Blimey Freesia I wondered where you had got too..now we know..I am so pleased you have had the op and now recovering.....now you take things easy and do has you are told....wishing you a speedy recovery xx

    I dont know what PFJ replacement are but well done!..also getting staples out I had over 20 staples in my new knee but getting them out was painless and well not worth worrying about for one moment!
