Well took the bull by the horns and drove the first time in 6years I wasn't comfortable was very apprehensive .Don't laugh it was such a big deal for me my husband lost his sight in Dec through his diabetes and with me having a revision on my knee we seemed to be doomed to stay in our nearest town is 7 miles away a very rural bus service so you can see how important it was for me to drive again well I did it 8 weeks after my revision op it was uncomfortable but that will go I now have to thank all those who took us shopping, hair cuts, dentist and so on.also thank goodness for Tesco delivery service thats been great.

Well done, wendgro! That's real, important progress that will make life so much easier for you.

I had my first two TKRs one after the other so I was away from driving for about 6 months. On my first night drive afterwards I'd to stop the car when I needed to find the lights as I'd forgotten where they were
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Laugh? Why? :? This is a very big deal and all I can say is well done to you - what an achievement and I hope it's given a strong boost to your confidence. Clever girl! :) DD
