Hi all,

A bit of advice please. I went to doctor 2 weeks ago with a sore foot, I was limping quite badly. Doctor sent me for xray. Phone call to receptionist a week later and she informed me the result was normal. Foot still sore and I'm still limping. It seems to be top and side of foot and I definately did not injure it in any way. Ive got RA. Could this be the start of OA? Im a bit confused as to what it could be. Going back to doctor on Friday. Any suggestions anyone?

    Hi
It could be the start of arthritis but your GP is the best to answer you questions.
I have osteoarthritis in both feet and it was quite a few years before it all showed up in X-rays for me it was most painful before the arthritis crept in and I'm down for further surgery next month
It might be worth getting an appointment with your rheumy when mine has been really painful my rheumy has injected my feet and most of the time it's helped.
    Good luck at GPs

Hi Elaine, I regularly have problems with sore feet and it is just part of the RA for me. Perhaps you could ring your rheumy and have a chat about it?
    Hope it improves.
