painful hands

I have had arthritis for twenty years and my hands have gradually become more deformed and weaker. They are sore at rest but trying to do anything heavy is not an option.
One of my biggest problems is making the bed and ( particularly) changing the duvet covers and the only time I have words with my husband is when we change the bed, he cannot seem to get the cover on the duvet properly into the corners.
Has anyone got any ideas? It would be a stupid reason to get divorced!

Others often don't do 'our' jobs to our satisfaction, do they?
My mum (who had very short arms) would get the corner of the duvet in to the corner of the cover then apply a clothes peg or two to hold it in place. This would be repeated for all four corners until the cover was done up and shaken. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
What a good idea  I usually get daughter but even she doesn't get it in the corners properly. Mig0
