Hubby had a letter this morning ( yes a proper letter) it was from the daughter of his best friend who he was best man to ,well it's her parents golden wedding this year and she is organising a surprise party for them, she has spent months tracking people down,I should add that my hubby is from Glasgow and has not seen his friend and wife for 47 years, well he spoke to the daughter tonight and the outcome is we are going to Glasgow in sept.
Got the name of the hotel where the party is so will book in there, special rates if we say we are coming for the " do" hubbys well chuffed. Mig
Guess who will be doing all the organising !

Hmmm, what to wear. That is not easy, is it? Hopefully you have something on the smarter side that you don't wear too often but is comfy and can be accessorised with a wrap or jacket, some jewellery, a scarf etc. As for him, I guess the same applies.
The main thing is that you go and have fun. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Mig you wear whatever is comfortable and what you feel really suits you, even if it has been worn a few times, remember you will be seeing people you have not seen in a long long time. As for OH surely it's got to be the kilt for him being a Scotsman, he can always wear some pink lycra underneath just for you hope you have a fab time.........Marie xxSmile a while and while you smile
smile another smile and soon there
will be miles and miles of smiles
just because you smiled I wish your

The thing is I have not met any of these people ,I have only spoke to the daughter and its 47 years since hubby has seen the couple .Its rather daunting for both of us.Hubby has only worn the kilt once when our eldest son got married. Mig0

Ah, I remember now, I apologise for forgetting. Right, what matters is that you feel at ease with your wardrobe, husband with his too. You will have enough pressures without piling any more on top. I hope it all goes well for you both. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
