I know you're due for another cataract op tomorrow and I do hope all goes well and you'll be able to revel in lycra again :wink:

Sebastian (and I) will miss you but it'll be worth waiting for. ((()))

    My appointment is at 1pm, but that's the time for all the afternoon appointments, so I will try to get there a little early, and hopefully be at the front of the queue.
    I have the same surgeon as last time, and I know exactly what to expect, and yet I've still got the collywobbles :roll: :lol: I guess I'm just a coward!

    Thank you all, I will gratefully accept all those hugs and kisses, as I'm feeling a little delicate at the moment.
    The op went well. I was a bit shocked to find my eye had bled in the night, (this didn't happen with the other one). It's quite painful too, more so than last time. I can't stand light, and it hurts to move it. It is spectacularly bloodshot, as you would expect.
    Because I had an information pack when I had my other eye done in December, they didn't give me one this time, and I can't find my pack anywhere! So, rather than worry, I rang the hospital about the pain and bleeding. They were very kind and reassuring, and said this is normal, but if it doesn't improve, to go in.
    I don't know if I was very lucky last time, or if I'm a bit unlucky this, but anyhow, it was well worth doing. I'm typing this with sunglasses on, and they're not prescription!!

    I'm so pleased it seems to have gone well and the bleeding doesn't appear to be a big deal (but don't dare neglect it or I'll send Sebastian to deliver the next hugs and kisses).

    Please look after yourself and don't do anything to compromise your new-found sight, especially posting on here.

    Hi, thanks to you all for your kind thoughts.
    I'm sorry I haven't been around, I've been spending time with my mum.
    One of her sisters has died. She was living in California, and we haven't seen her for years. Naturally mum is quite upset.

    My eye is healing well, it's only slightly gritty now. The vision in it, is already better than the other one :shock: in spite of a bit of flickering, which will go soon, I'm sure.
