So I'm off to the hairdressers tomorrow having highlights and cut and blow dry,then having nails done ,we are going to York on friday and then to the races on saturday,the trip is a Xmas gift from my eldest son and his family,never been to the races before really looking forward to it.they have booked us a room at a hotel that overlooks the race-course,they are going to the races with us ,got £10 for a bet not risking anymore .

    Have a great time mig you will love your day at the races it is a great atmosphere, although there are no LYCRA, there are jockeys in nice tight jodphurs :wink: xx

    Mig, have a great time. It sounds lovely but please don't go near B*urg*r K*ng at the station. It was a case of needs must for us, a group of racegoers had been there before us and they'd virtually nothing left :shock: They only made me a cup of tea as a special favour :roll:

    Eat, drink and be merry. I'll be thinking of you - with deep envy :D

    I have only been to york city once to deliver some clothes , but it looks to be a wonderful city .

    Getting excited about the trip now,packing nearly done,got some spends,just need a shower then pjs on and relax.
    Anyone want a jockey bringing back,could manage a couple in the case as they are only little. Mig
