Good morning.
My name is Keith Clear and I am Co-Chair of Medway Parent and Carers Forum. This is an independent parent led group who sit in partnership with health, social care and Medway Council in helping to shape services around the needs of all families with children and young people with disabilities and additional support needs up to the age of 25.
We are conscious that young people with arthritis are under represented in our group and we genuinely want to have feedback about common issues that affect your young people.
Do you have a local group in Medway or Kent that we can get feedback from.? Currently there are all the changes in SEN education, health and social care plus the changes from DLA to PIPS all affecting every disability.
I would be grateful if you could e-mail some information to our forum on medwaypcf@googlemail.com or contact us on 07813 123984.
Thank you for your time.

Dear Keith
Thank you for your posting on the forum and for your interest in young people with arthritis. I would suggest that you contact our England office where we provide workshops and other activities for young people with arthritis. You can look at our work with young people and the England office contact details on the link http://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/InyourArea/SouthEngland/YoungPeople.
I have also forwarded your posting to Joanne Hunt who is our Young People and Families Service Manager and she may want to get in touch with you.
Our information for young people and their families may be of interest to you. You can access our booklets and information on the link http://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/PublicationsandResources/Youngpeopleandfamilies
I hope that this is helpful to you.
Best Wishes
