RADAR Key Triumph

Years of owning one have taught me that there are two laws of RADAR key ownership.

1. I have the key but don’t need it for varying reasons (a good bladder, standard ladies’ loos that I can actually lock and – more importantly – unlock for myself, or disabled ones that don’t require a RADAR key).

2. I do need the key, sometimes desperately (Cambridge stands out as an exceptionally leg-crossing afternoon  ), but have left it either at home or in the car

Yesterday we were ‘on the road’ for most of the day at different places whose 'loo plans' were all unfamiliar. I found I needed my key, and I had it, at not just one but TWO different venues. Sad b*st*rd that I am, this made me inordinately happy :D

It’s the little things in life

I used mine for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Him and me went for a pint and the disabled toilet in the pub was a RADAR one. Mind you I had to plod back to my handbag to fetch the darned thing but it was with me; result! (I bought mine after a leg-plaiting afternoon in Brighton.) DD

:o Are you sure? I'd have thought that plaiting required a minimum of three legs :? Is there something you've not been telling us, Jake? My heart goes out to you if you have three arthritic ones. I believe the most one can achieve with two legs is ringlets but I'd be intrigued to learn more

Sticky, if one is desperate enough it's amazing the contortions that a mere two legs can execute.

I agree, wazz42, it is rather like a key to a castle. :) I have a multi-pocketed bag and my key lurks in its own section. DD

    Hi
I haven't got one......Its something I've never needed in our area but I think I will get one.
I was in Scotland for a week and the amount of loos that I used that had to have a radar key
I think I'll have to get one even though I don't need it locally

    Wazz, villier and Maria09

Anyone can buy one. Google RADAR key to find sites selling them.

They are big so that people with cr*ppy hands like mine can manage to turn the key
