Oh my word ... I'm speechless & have VERY grateful tears in my eyes due to the wonderful kindness uve all shown by being prepared to be pocket supporters tomorrow!!

I truly can't thank you all enough. I'm rather nervous even tho I'm trying not to be. Wen I went last week for the initial results I managed a whole 90 minutes sleep that night n my tummy felt like it had snakes rolling around in it!!Lol

I'll post how it went as soon as I'm home. I'm so sorry a couple of you are still poorly

Hello my pocket buddies

Ul think I'm mad but wen ever I got nervous today I thought of this thread & all of your kindness .. It really did help, thank you!! ((( )))

The Neurologist was pretty thorough. Medical history & my parents & siblings. She ran some tests, reflexes, sensation types & I was very surprised to find out that my face on the left still has less feeling than the right side :?
She believes all of my symptoms are from complex migraines. She's put me on a very low dose of Topiramate tablets as a 'preventor'. One possible side effect is weight loss, I WILL live in hope!!Lol

She doesn't believe the cyst is anything to worry about really but she's attending a meeting tonight with other disiplines within the hospital so she's gona get a neuro radiographer to take her thru it as her screen made it hard to even see the Pineal gland let alone the cyst!! The most likely result will be half yearly MRI's to ensure its not growing & becoming a danger to the brain stem that it sits above!!

I am so pleased.

Glad that he feels so confidant about that cyst so reassuring.

My eldest has hemiplegic migraines and had tried a few 'preventers' I might ask about topiramate as all hers have had the opposite effect :roll:
