Hello again,

As I slowly creep toward diagnosis of my arthritis, we are doing skin biopsies now for psoriasis (psoriatic arthritis is on the top of the diagnostic list) and something called pityriasis rubra pilaris or PRP . This one the doctor diagnosed on the spot.

A quick read on the internet reveals an association with arthritis and/or myositis, so I had to ask all of you; anyone with PRP and arthritis/dermatomyositis?

Thanks, Anna

    Hi,

That's not something I've heard of, sorry!!

I have severe chronic plaque psoriasis & PsA tho. I've recently discovered there is more than 1 classification of PsA n it seems I have a cross over of nearly all of them ... Just my luck.Lol

I hope someone more knowledgeable will be along soon with some info for you. Best of luck with ure final diagnosis.x

    Hi Anna

As I understand it PRP is rare. You poor love. I had not heard of it before but as I like to learn I googled it. There are a few support groups and forums but as it is rare not many and sometimes no one has posted on the forums. There are also a couple of myositis support groups too. I wish I could do more to help you, Anne, but you most definitely have my sympathy.

    You look after yourself

    Gentle hugs
