I am now into my fourth week of no mtx, so far not bad at all ( hope I am not tempting fate). I am off to have ultrasound on my hands today, not quite sure what's up with my body probably old age. Rheumy is thinking my pain is not inflammation that is why I am having the us today we shall have to wait and see. Still very confused.com, have I got arthritis or not surly they would not have put me on mtx three years ago if they were in any doubt. My bloods did point to ra positive rheumatoid factor and weak positive anti-cpp and I have had high esr and crp.

I can’t help with the diagnosis, June, but I hope the ultrasound goes/went OK and that it’ll help your rheumatologist to get a better picture of what is or isn’t happening. Please let us know the outcome. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Back from my ultrasound no sign if inflammation there is some fluid (water) on my right wrist he will send report to Rheumy who will then let me know where we go from here.
Take care
