Thought I would re start this one up as many of us are still having problems sleeping
Just you watch now I've started this I will sleep all night

    I used to be able to do 'early birds' but the amitriptyline has mostly sorted that :oops:

    Still up by 7 at the latest of course, but not 5.30 like when those posts were running originally :oops:

    I might pop in here occasionally. Don't have time in the mornings but sometimes can't get to sleep till late at night. Mmmm, we could have midnight feasts.

    Keep thinking I should start my family tree my dad started it but when my mum had her stroke he stopped and now doesn't have the time

    I have never looked into my family tree, but my brother has traced our surname back to Malta, you should give it a go x

    I think I will once our computer is fixed
    My dad has traced back yo his great grandmother after that it seems confusing
    His dad never spoke about his family or his involvement in First World War all we know was he spent time in the trenches and his hair turned white overnight so he said and he got shot twice in the same arm other than that he would not speak about it!
    Part of me wants to leave well alone but I'm also very curious about the family
    It looks so easy on the tv but in reality I know it will be much more difficult

    I have never looked into it, I can imagine it would be difficult, my father died when I was quite young and cannot remember much about his family. I reckon I may have relatives in Ireland but I wouldn't have a clue where to start.

    I've just sorted my bandage on my foot it was getting to the point it would fall off feels better now

    I go back on Tuesday morning luckily no stitches to remove my Ortho uses internal ones
    Will be just glad to get the dressing off its so itchy which is a good sign Ivy's just annoying
    I'm not sure if he is going to put a pot on or not think he said no but as I have to heel walk for about 6wks I'm not sure if I just need my snazzy boot

    Had trouble sleeping last night due to my hips and my left foot (OK I know funny!) Thank goodness for kindles read till 2.30AM and then managed to drop off and then I was awake at 4.20AM-ish read till 5.30AM and dropped off till alarm woke me at 7.30AM!! What a crappy Night/early morning!!

    I didn't see this post. If I had seen it earlier I would have kept you company Unsure. Couldn't settle down till 3am and back up again at 4am. Eye's are starting to give in now, but it's to late now.

    I must remember this is here now. I have a lot of sleepless nights nowadays.
