I like the book title!
The very best of luck to Mrs Unsure, I believe it's a fairly straightforward procedure and she should feel better very soon. Please let us know how it goes, yes? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -

I guess you're getting a taste of 'wife life' as I call it. I know that caring is not Mr DD's forté, after my double carpal tunnel op he took two weeks off work to 'look after me'. I remember one notable afternoon he asked would I like a cup of tea? I said yes, he replied 'I have to send one email then I'll do it.' He disappeared up to the top floor for three hours. 'I got diverted.' was the puny explanation. Caring is hard work, much harder than being ill. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Just found this. Hope Mrs Unsure is recovering well and that you are not tiring yourself out.Christine0

I had pain there, too, for quite a while and yes, I think that was one of the operation 'entry' sites. Overall, I found the fatigue the worst thing to deal with, but, this too gradually improved over a few weeks.
Best wishes to Mrs Unsure for a full and speedy recovery.0 -
Happy birthday Mrs Unsure. Hope you have a lovely day despite not being able to get out of bed. Get well soon.
You take it easy as much as you can Mr Unsure. Could you do the preparation sitting down?Christine0 -
Any form of surgery leaves residual pain and soreness but that will ease. I hope you both manage to have as good a day as possible and please wish her a Happy Birthday from me. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

A number of my past cooking efforts involved various stages - now it all gets chucked into a casserole and left to get on with it. So far so good - I haven't poisoned him or me (yet).
I hope today is a better one for you both - how's about a take-away tonight? There's nowt wrong with making life easy now and again. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Good luck .
Will be thinking of you both ,
