an intimate evening with John Challis

Not what you might be thinking, there were 100 other people present including hubby. It was a talk with John Challis last night at our local theatre and it was described as "an intimate evening with John Challis". Very enjoyable evening, very funny man, but sadly there are no plans for another tv series with him in.

As well as his two well known series of Only Fools and Horses, and the Green Green Grass, he had also appeared in The Newcomers, Doctor Who, Open All Hours, Coronation Street, Citizen Smith and many more tv shows.

Superb all round evening and if he is appearing at a local theatre near you, then I can recommend his talk.
